Ashley Rollerson
MA LMFT

After receiving her BA at UCLA, Ashley received her Masters in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Early Childhood Development from Antioch University. Through her training she worked with children aged 2-11 which paved the way for deeper understanding of early childhood physical, relational and emotional development. The best foundation for adult mental health treatment is understanding the fundamentals of how each person's life in childhood influences the social emotional growth and wellbeing of the aging adult.

Ashley started her career by divine intervention working with young adults in substance abuse sober living environments. Pre-licensure she trained over 30 employees in New York and Los Angeles on best practices for general mental health needs as well as cultural competency around BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ best practices. She recognized her passion for connecting with a vast array of severe mental health diagnosis inclusive of psychotic and personality disorders and decided to return to school to become a licensed clinician. Her best lesson pre-licensure was to expect the unexpected and lead with empathy. Some of her most challenging mental health cases were before she entered her masters program which she feels immense gratitude for today.

As a licensed clinician Ashley has worked in all levels of care (Residential, PHP, IOP) specifically with high risk adolescents, families and adults. Her work has included multiple speaking engagements and trainings across the country around marginalized communities and eclectic practices. After 4 years working within a complex comprehensive adolescent treatment center where she was trained in Brainspotting (trauma modality),  Ashley transitioned to private practice in congruence with working within a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy outpatient program in which she practiced adherent DBT with adolescents, families and adults.

Ashley is the co-founder of Ecodelic Therapy Collective. Ecodelic Therapy focuses on Psychedelic Assisted Therapy in congruence with Nature Informed Therapy. For more information on retreats and Ecopsychedelic therapy visit www.ecodelictherapy.com.

She feels psychedelics and the natural world can be used in congruence with other therapeutic modalities for deeper processing and treatment of a wide range of diagnosis. The old myth that therapists should only have one speciality is a disservice to the unique individual asking to be fully seen. In order to really understand the complexity of each individual, Ashley believes in the importance of knowing a wide range of treatment modalities in order to be able to guide each individual to the care they need. One size does not fit all and that goes for therapeutic approaches and clinical providers.

She now works with adults, adolescents and families within an eclectic therapeutic frame in which the individual needs are assessed and integrated within a brood range of therapeutic approaches to provide long term fulfilling outcomes.

On her off time she loves to travel, hike in nature, enjoy live music, practice hot yoga, drink copious amounts of tea and connect with family and friends.
